HISTORY

Once upon a time, in a fantastical world, there lived a peasant and his wife on a small farm. They were both happy and content until one day...

The farmer was walking home peacefully after striking a good deal.

However, upon his arrival, he saw his wife lying in bed, extremely pale and coughing violently. She had contracted a rare disease for which there was no cure.

As the days passed, hope dwindled and the illness worsened.

One day, the peasant desperately decided to pray, "Please, any entity that has mercy, help this poor peasant, for I will accept any challenge."

And then...

A bright light as intense as a thousand suns appeared before him. "I can help you, little peasant," said the deidy, "Oh, thank God! I'll do anything to help my wife!"

The deity then raised a flower as red as blood to the man and said, "Prove your determination and kindness and plant it. The flower will grow quickly, and its miraculous seed will cure your wife's ailments. However, its aroma will attract creatures that will try to take it. Protect this flower with your life."

And so the peasant planted the flower and swore by his wife that he would protect the blood rose.
